Major Job Duties Include: The Planning Analyst works independently with Sales (to determine market potential for Bosch Chassis Systems Control products including take rates for various product offerings), Engineering (to determine technical feasibility of product offerings), Marketing (to determine availability of current and future products), and business leaders (to determine sales strategies): Responsibilities include: *Forecast volume and revenue for the automotive modulation product line, this includes current year forecasts, business planning period forecasts (3 years), and business potential planning forecasts (10 years). *Prepare detailed variance analysis for forecasts to actual volumes and revenues. Prepare variance analysis for planning period to planning period comparison. *Analyze market trends and perform market share analysis. *Manage the Annual Sales Revenue target setting and tracking process. *Coordinate planning database tools for establishing an interface between local NAFTA databases and the headquarters in Germany.
Minimum Requirements Include: *Bachelors degree in Finance, Marketing, Engineering or Business Administration required with five years of financial or planning experience. *Strong analytical capabilities and computer software skills with an emphasis in excel is a must. *Effective communicator and ability to adapt to change easily.
Desired: *MBA, with one to three years of financial or planning experience. *Knowledgeable with Bosch internal related databases (SAP/ESSBASE/CS-IS)
