Associate Director, Assessment Program Delivery

Associate Director, Assessment Program Delivery



Position Description:

The Associate Director will be responsible for successful delivery of K-12 formative assessment solutions for Wireless Generation customers. The Associate Director will consult with customers on the goals of their formative and interim assessment programs. He or she will design and execute plans for ensuring customers meet those goals. The Associate Director will work closely with schools and districts coordinating all aspects of their assessment programs including assessment development and administration, software and hardware installation, and supporting services such as professional development. Success in this position requires applying skills in project management, business analysis, customer requirements gathering and documentation. The Associate Director will report to the Executive Director, Assessment.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the successful delivery of Wireless Generation formative assessment solutions to K-12 customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Wireless Generation’s K-12 formative assessment solutions and customer use cases.
  • Work with customers to gather and document requirements while providing consultation regarding approaches to optimize value from our solutions. 
  • Develop detailed plans for delivering formative assessment programs; ensure plans are properly resourced and coordinate overall execution of delivery plan. 
  • Apply solution knowledge and identify potential roadblocks and risks to implementing standard solutions and ways to work around them.
  • Track and communicate status, solutions and concerns with customer and internal teams. 
  • Ensure smooth customer onboarding through beginning of the school year.

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated success in a project management, technology consulting or implementation/solution delivery role. 
  • Demonstrated experience and success managing and working with customers with complex requirements. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. 
  • Ability to communicate technical information (e.g., how a specific feature works) to non-technical members/customers.
  • Willingness to travel 2-4 times per month during peak implementation season

    Preferred Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience in and understanding of K-12 formative assessment practices.
  • Experience working with schools and districts.
