Associate Analyst, Compensation & Benefits (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)

Purpose:

The Comp and Benefits Associate Analyst is responsible for general benefits administration.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Administers the Short-Term Disability and FMLA process. Coordinates paperwork and correspondence with employees, managers, legal, HR, payroll, and the Disability Management Insurance Company. Ensures policy and procedure adherence.
  • General Benefits administration of all Company benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, reimbursement accounts, educational assistance, long-term care, and life and disability plans. Interacts with third party vendors, including medical, dental, and vision carriers, COBRA/FSA administrator, and Child Care Center.
  • Assists in the management of the electronic enrollment process and open enrollment initiatives.
  • Conduct employee benefits orientation.
  • Reconciliation and payment of insurance premiums and department bills for multiple vendors. Conducts audits and provides reporting.
  • Primary contact for employees with benefits questions, policy interpretation, and problem resolution.
  • Back-up for the administration of the 401k plan.


    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft's Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; prior experience with SAP a plus
  • Ability to work independently and professional while handling confidential information
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, changing priorities, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment


    Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of general benefits experience, including disability administration
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prefer: Two years direct experience in a similar role
