Associate Accountant I- Loan Accounting ReconciliationsPosition Summary: Develop, prepare, and analyze financial and operating data while performing a variety of moderately complex accounting duties in the Accounting Department. Great Plains software is strongly desired.
Principal Responsibilities: • Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW) philosophy. • Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement. • Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines. • Initiate and monitor cash activity • Provide guidance and training support to a variety of accounting clerks. • Reconcile moderately complex accounts, researching and resolving outages. • Provide information to other areas of the company. • Process and distribute reports as necessary and effectively communicate appropriate information to supervisor. • Work with internal departments, as well as outside agencies, on accounting issues. • Maintain files on problem accounts. • Provide backup support as directed by supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements: • Associate degree preferred • 1-2 years of accounting experience, reconciling experience, analytical experience

Physical Requirements: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and operate a computer keyboard and/or use other general office equipment on a routine basis. Must be able to work flexible shifts.
