POSITION DESCRIPTION: Assistant Account Executive (AAE)
REPORTS TO: National Sales Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION PURPOSE:
To aid in the generation of new sales transactions for SSC’s Structured Settlement Division. Assist the Account Executive with customer relations and satisfaction and the procurement of new clients.
To learn SSC sales process in order to transition into the Structured Settlement Account Executive position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in qualifying incoming sales leads.
Use SalesForce (SFDC) database to identify sales opportunities.
Work as an integral part of the Structure Sales Division team.
Help the team reach monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
Communicate with prospects to identify needs, goals, and issues.
Work with processing, legal and other essential operations in the business to ensure SSC helps our “sellers" get what they need.
Perform essential database queries, help prioritize important weekly tasks.
Other related duties as required.
Requirements:
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Adept at variety of communication styles.
Ability to craft creative communications to the target audience.
Proficient in MS Office Suite applications and sales database –SalesForce (SFDC)
Self-motivated and interested in organizational advancement.
Results oriented with strong work ethic.
Superb organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree required. Consideration may be extended to individuals with at least 2-years undergraduate and previous sales/specialty finance industry experience.
