Application Release Management Analyst
The Release Management Analyst in Pleasanton, California will take on the responsibilities of supporting the development and production environments for the application. This person is responsible and accountable for providing technical support for app interfaces across multiple delivery phases, including System Test, WIT, UAT and providing environment support for Production. The application has numerous environments and servers that must be properly maintained to support all of the regions. The Release Management Team is responsible for build and release management, software configuration management going forward to ensure that the application is properly maintained, deployed and supported to keep it running correctly to support our business partners. This new FTE role will support that function and need to maintain app environments.
Responsibilities Include: * Manage and merge source code for releases, patches and emergency fixes * Process security requests from the help desk and update appropriate non-production database environment * Apply PL/SQL release changes to non development and production database environment for five regions * Promote programming changes to engineering environment where the app can be tested by developers, QA test team and business partners * Prepare non production environments for development, system test, workflow integration testing and user acceptance testing (approximately 75 non production/production/disaster recovery database environments currently exist in the app) * Support building and deploying disaster recovery environments * Set up jobs for all five regions so jobs can be executed and monitored by National Operations (SOX control) * Verify operating system patches during the weekend applied to development and production servers (currently the app has 41 development and production servers)
