RESPONSIBILITIES: Information Systems sector is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Aberdeen, MD with some travel to another location in Eatontown, NJ. The qualified applicant will become part of a team supporting the Army Program Manager for Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (CREW) by performing configuration management on hardware, software, and firmware. Roles and Responsibilities: Tracking the status of all Change Requests on the program, and reporting this status at any time to PM CREW and all its stakeholders, including theater commanders and personnel. Attending manufacturer Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings to ensure that proper CM practices are followed and government interests are protected. Creating CCB review packages for program stakeholder review. Performing system administration and data entry duties on an automated CM tool suite To participate in CM working groups. Participate in CM working groups. Participating in telephone and video conferences with program stakeholders to address CM issues and provide CM status on the program. Hours: 8am to 5pm REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Skills and knowledge: Three years' experience in Configuration Management. Three years' experience with automated CM Tools. Experience tracking work products through their lifecycles. Experience working in a military environment. An understanding of CMMI and of the CM process area within it. Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and 5 years of related experience. 4 additional years can be substituted for the degree requirement.
