Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions for mainframe and distributed components. Fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects usually on specific assigned problems, receiving guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Should be able to do peer reviews for code, build unit test plans and test scripts, complete unit testing and contribute to component integration test scripts. Be able to enter tickets for code migration/deployment. Awareness of business or function for which application is designed. May require some guidance on more complex projects. Exercises judgment within predefined practices and procedures and work may be subject to the review of more senior associates or Team Manager.
Typically an entry level position. Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified Should have Computer Science, Math or Engineering educational background. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines for delivering high visibility projects that benefit tens of millions of customers.
