Analyst-Compliance AutoReqId 131002BR Responsibilities Group 1 contributes approx 55% of the overall PTI for GNS EMEA and is responsible for the International Currency Card business and the 4 GNS Joint Venture businesses. The 4 GNS Joint Ventures are located in Switzerland, Belgium the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. As a result of American Express becoming a Bank Holding Company, the GNS Joint Ventures are considered to be 'Controlled Entities' of American Express and are therefore required to comply with additional American Express policies and US regulations.
The GNS JV Governance manager will support the Director, GNS JV Governance, to ensure the GNS JVs comply with appropriate American Express policies, legal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for understanding policy and regulatory requirements as they relate to each of the GNS JVs and working with the JVs to develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure adherence. They will be responsible for working with GNS compliance to ensure the GNS JVs have effective compliance policies and programmes in place and will be responsible for monitoring compliance to American Express policies and regulations, including the completion of internal PRSAs and remediation plans related to the Controlled Entity policy (AEMP 37).
Completion of all mandatory American Express training programmes by the GNS JVs will be managed by this role.
The role will work closely with the GNS Joint Venture team, GNS compliance, GNS Finance, General Counsel, GNS Risk and the American Express Internal Audit Group. .
