PROJECT MANAGER: Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and status reporting of projects from initiation through to implementation. Responsible for managing project costs, resources, change requests, risk and issues to ensure that maximum business benefit is maintained as well as provision of regular project status updates. Responsible for the delivery of small projects that deliver functional change to a single business product/service or provide support to medium to large projects that deliver significant functional change to multiple applications for single business products/services.
PROGRAMMER ANALYST: Responsible for ensuring that the design and build meets defined business requirements, and for the production of the associated design documentation. Develops code specifications, performs coding duties or manages third-party development of code. Involved in unit testing, integration and user acceptance testing. Assists in resolution of defects as required. Works with Quality Assurance Managers to ensure successful completion of test phase. Works on projects on Applications and Platforms supporting a business area / process. Will specialize in one type of software development. Works on complex programs.
BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: Responsible for the documentation of Business Needs, Business Requirements and Testing Requirements applying the required methods and standards as appropriate. Assists in the analysis of underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements. Provides assistance to the project team in terms of completing any project-related documentation. Works as part of a team on projects which are moderately complex.
LEAD TECHNICAL ARCHITECT: Responsible for the technical direction of platform(s) or set of applications, within a portfolio, providing consulting expertise, leveraging business and technical knowledge to support business strategies and deliver business value. Plays an integral role in building and enhancing the infrastructure required to support the platform(s) or set of applications, in terms of robustness, scalability, availability and efficiency. Works with Technical and Business Architects to ensure developments support the Business and IT Strategic Plan. Performs as a high-level technical, subject matter expert for platform/applications supported (which may cover multiple applications). Has responsibility for the technical direction of the platform(s)/applications within supported portfolio. Ensures accuracy in terms of Asset Management for the portfolio supported. May lead teams performing architecture initiatives from inception to conclusion.
