Title: Admin II Fund Accounting - Pricing and Valuations Dept Location: United Kingdom-Brentwood Team Description Responsible for day to day pricing and administration of financial products including unit trusts, OEICS and Life & Pension funds. Across Brentwood there are approximately 60 members of staff who are responsible for pricing and valuing funds for a number of clients, ultimately working towards finalising a daily NAV.
Job Purpose: Responsible for the oversight and day to day pricing and administration of financial products including unit trusts, OEICS and Life & Pension funds.
Responsibilities: · Responsible for the day to day administration of funds which involves completion of the following work in an accurate and timely manner: · Review of fund prices, and components of NAV in addition to actively investigating fund price anomalies as compared to determined benchmark · Review of exception reporting relating to tax daily fund pricing function · Actively clearing daily cash exceptions, and ensuring stock reconciliation's are minimal · Assistance in development of procedures · Comply with all corporate policies and procedures within the department. · Alert supervisor immediately of any significant changes to business risks and internal control effectiveness. · Notify management and/or Compliance immediately of any regulatory breach. · Comply with health and safety policies and procedures operating within the business. · Ad hoc duties as required by Fund Accounting Supervisor · The grade is reflective of the complexity of the funds which will be undertaken and the level of responsibility
