Accounts Receivable/Collections Representative
J.P. Express Service, Inc is a growing trucking company with its’ corporate office located in Deer Park, NY. We are currently looking for an accounts receivable/collections representative to join our accounting team. As an A/R Collection Rep you will play a key role in contacting customers regarding past due balances and reconciling accounts.
We offer a competitive compensation package (salary, medical, dental, 401(k) with company match) in a casual, fast paced environment.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Review aging reports and perform collection on overdue accounts
Analyze payment discrepancies and provide resolution
Reconcile customer accounts and prepare necessary documentation
Processing credit card transactions
Posting of customer payments by recording checks and credit card transactions
Process accounts receivable statements
Processing credit inquiries for new and existing customers
Perform other A/R functions as needed
The ideal candidate should have prior A/R collection experience, excellent verbal communication skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
