Accounts Receivable Clerk
Hillyard, Inc., a 104-year-old manufacturer of cleaning chemicals and distributor of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Professional.
This position reports to the Operations Manager. The primary responsibilities include all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process as well as collections and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the corporate office. The selected applicant will also be a back-up for our Customer Service team, so the ability to handle multiple things at the same time is imperative.
Candidates should possess:
Excellent computer and clerical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in person and on the telephone
Basic math skills
Ability to work effectively with others
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Desire to accept and complete difficult assignments
Experience working in SAP is a plus
Candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, and have relevant AR experience, preferably in a distribution setting. High School Diploma required, some college preferred.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the Accounts Receivable Process
Ability to reconcile and audit work
SAP experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail oriented
Ability to set priorities and work independently
Ability to multi-task
Demonstrate excellent professional, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to work in a very fast paced work environment and able to work independently and with little direction
Experience in a wholesale distribution setting strongly preferred
