Applies principals of Accounting and Company Procedures to ensure timely and accurate issuance of daily checks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following: Other duties may be assigned
- Responsible for the entire process of issuing daily checks. This includes, retrieving requests from Maude (an internal database), auditing for proper approval and coding, data-entry of the requests, printing of checks and distribution, preparation of spreadsheets for checks printed at various locations
- Obtain W-9s from vendors where appropriate
- Communicate daily with Check Requestors via phone and e-mail
- Issuance of the checks for the Client Promotions and updating of the Lakewood tracking item
- Assume responsibility for processing invoices for several internal teams within Maude and Great Plains
- Filing EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, the Internet, and Accounting Software LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
