Accounts Payable Representative II (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
As the AP Rep II, you will contribute to our success by processing moderately complex invoices within the Accounts Payable department by following the established accounting policies of the organization.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing, balancing and posting financial data into the Accounts Payable Ledger within SAP.
Planning & Navigating Requirements (the plans the job is responsible for creating and executing, and how the job ensures they are implemented)
Reviews, balances and posts moderately complex invoices ensuring they are in compliance with company policies and Chart of Authority.
Researches moderately complex questions about financial information, and posts correcting entries.
Reconciles vendor accounts, identifying and resolving discrepant items.
Corresponds with vendors, conducts investigations and brings discrepancies to resolution.
Negotiates and aptly resolves internal and external customer service issues.
Maintains awareness of all activities and issues that could impact daily operations and service levels
Recommends and helps implement workflow improvements within their area.
Maintains company and employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications:
Associate of Arts degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
3+ years accounts payable or bookkeeping experience required.
Solid understanding of financial systems.
Intermediate use of Excel worksheets and Word documents.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality surrounding sensitive customer or company information.
Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across our companyfor the achievement of business goals.
Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at our company.
