SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
As Accounting Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the monthly financial closing processing and reporting as well as daily accounting operations. In this role, you will be involved in, and supervising accounting functions primarily in the areas of general ledger, accounts payable, and inventories, with a supporting role in the area of cost analytics, payroll processing, budgeting and forecasting, and management reporting.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, physical inventories and cycle counting.
Participate in the monthly financial closing and related reporting to management.
Capital project/Fixed asset accounting.
Measurement and reporting of financial and non-financial information that helps managers make decisions to fulfill the goals of the organization
Participate in the development of the annual budget, monthly forecast, and related analysis.
Maintain adherence to internal controls policies and procedures,
Balance sheet account reconciliations.
Special assignments, projects, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1-3 years related work experience including the functions of general accounting, accounts payable and payroll.
Preferred: Supervisory experience in the related functional areas.

SKILLS:
Required: Proficiency in Oracle ERP or comparable system, Strong PC skills ? Excel, Word and Access
Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
