Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc., one of the nation's oldest and most respected mortgage loan servicing companies has an opening for an Accounting Supervisor.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Responsible for performing technical and administrative accounting duties including general ledger entries, compilation of financial statements, and account analysis.
Perform accounting duties as related to the daily administration of the department
Maintain records of financial documents with appropriate supporting material, update records as necessary
Process general ledger journal entries and assist with preparation of financial statements
Perform general ledger account analysis
Assists with preparation of financial statements
Assist management staff with budget process
Assist external auditors with requests during audit process
Provide assistance with questions relating to general ledger entries and departmental expenses
Recommend to management any changes or adjustments to financial reports or departmental controls and procedures
Delegate tasks to accounting staff
Directs corporate accounting staff in Manager's absence
Requirements:
Requirements for this position are:
College accounting degree in Accounting or Finance
3 + yrs of accounting and General Ledger experience; public accounting experience a plus
