Accounting Supervisor Tracking Code 2010047 Job Description Incument will handle the accounting responsibilities for mortgage loan servicing for the corporate accounting department. In this role, you will review all reconciliations and ensure the general ledger accounts are accurately stated; manage various transaction processing functions in respective areas to assure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency; prepare reconciliations monthly; interact with the Investor Reporting, Loan Accounting and Cashiering departments for month end entries; reconcile foreign currency exposure for Bayview Loan Servicing (BLS); prepare monthly financial statements for BLS (Balance/Sheet, Income/Statement); review and work with Treasury on all BLS cash flow; identify and submit variance analysis to the Assistant Controller; perform various month end special reporting as requested; and handle special projects as assigned by the Assistant Controller or Controller. Required Skills * Ability to effectively structure workflow, coordinate resources and meet monthly reporting deadlines is a must. * Proven in depth accounting exposure. * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. * Oracle and MSP experience a plus. * Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Required Experience * Bachelors Degree in Accounting. * 5 to 7 years of industry experience in accounting for the servicing of mortgage loans. * Extensive bank reconciliation experience required. * Prior managerial skills preferred but not required.
