Title: Accounting Specialist III-Westlake Village, CA Location: CA-Westlake Village Performs a variety of routine and some nonroutine clerical / accounting function in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area. Reconciles bank accounts, posts information and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payments and compiles segments of monthly closings, annual reports, lies advanced skills as well as adapts procedures, processes, and techniques to meet the requirements of the position. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. May be designated as "lead" worker.
* Assist Correspondent Lending Accounts Receivable in supporting the incoming calls from external and internal clients. * Respond to emails from external and internal clients. * Research and resolve billing disputes. * Process receivable adjustments in Microsoft Dynamics. *Process refunds by wire or check when required. *Ad hoc reports when required. *Other projects as requested by management. Required Skills: * Must have basic accounting knowledge. * Good communication skills - ability to speak effectively and clearly on the phone or in person with external and internal customers. * Basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Access
