Accounting Specialist
IT firm located in downtown Chicago seeks an Accounting Specialist to offer support to the finance department. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining files, preparing and mailing accounts payable checks, researching solutions for documentation problems and discrepancies, maintaining accounts receivable customer files, managing communication between company personnel and management, and any other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, high proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and be familiar with GAAP. Must have an associate’s degree in accounting with at least 1 year of experience in financial reporting.
