Accounting Manager
Assuming this role, the selected candidate will perform the following functions: Accounting: * Maintain the general accounting system* Manage the Accounts Payable function * Manage the Accounts Receivable function * Manage the month-end close* Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and P/L variance analysis* Prepare monthly financial report package and ad hoc reports as requested* Manage vendor relationships* Ensure that the company's controls and procedures are enforced Financial Planning: * Prepare and maintain the company's financial forecasting and simulation modeling tools* Produce all due diligence materials necessary to support fundraising efforts* Assist in benchmarking and modeling potential deal structures* Perform financial planning and analysis as requested* Actively participate in strategic and operational discussions Operations: * Oversee internal financial operations, including the accounting and budgeting function, risk management control systems and other related processes* Manage the company's banking and legal requirements* Drive the annual budgeting process* Responsible for corporate governance issues, including tax filings and planningSpecific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): * 5-10 years total experience preferably to include general ledger accounting duties for an emerging growth company* BS in Accounting or Finance* CPA is a nice plus* Able to prioritize a large number of financial and operational activities* Strong system and analysis skills with knowledge of Great Plains strongly preferred* An entrepreneurial spirit, prepared to take calculated risks in pursuit of goals* Be comfortable in a fast paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality
