We're looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Minneapolis/Medina Outsourcing team, and we really hope you're "the one." If you are, you should know that this position will be responsible for: · Client bookkeeping in-house and sometimes at client sites. · Monthly processing on PC. · Prepare compiled financial statements. · Prepare payrolls and payroll tax returns. · Prepare individual and corporate tax returns. · Prepare 1099s. · Set up and update depreciation schedules. · Assist clients with questions or concerns as necessary. · Special projects as assigned.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with 5+ year's full-charge bookkeeping experience. Position will work directly with clients, so excellent communication and organization skills are a must.
This position requires solid knowledge of general ledger accounting, sales/payroll taxes, payroll processing, and Idaho State reporting. Ideal candidate must be very proficient in using QuickBooks and have solid Excel and Word experience. AA degree strongly desired, but experience will be considered in lieu of education.
