A Washington, DC client is seeking an NAVFAC consultant. The objective of the NAVFAC GF FIP Program is to prepare the DON for real property assertion, meet FMO requirements for GF segment assertions, and continue A-123 testing efforts in accordance with applicable regulations and guidance. The FIP effort will leverage the use of the Integrated Financial Control and Compliance Solution (iFiCCS), the Navy's designated A-123 Management Tool, to facilitate efficient and effective monitoring of NAVFAC GF key internal controls. Performing tests on key controls and material line items, implementing corrective actions and establishing sustainable processes at NAVFAC will enable DON segment and financial statement be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed. Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus. Candidates who are both qualified and interested are encouraged to apply today.
