AP Professionals is currently recruiting for an Accountant for one of our clients located in Downtown Rochester. This is a temp to hire opportunity and the salary range is $40-45k.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare journal entries
Prepare monthly reconciliations
Identify and correct any account discrepancies
Assist with audit fieldwork by gathering information and preparing schedules
Could include responsibilities such as recording monthly fees, and recording and reconciling accounts
Perform financial analyses for assigned entities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Attend meetings to present financials to upper management
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Collect data and prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns
