Organization(s): 63RD RSC, INTERNAL REVIEW OFFICE, MOFFETT FIELD, CA About the Position: Name and location of position's organization: 63rd Regional Support Command, Internal Review Office, Moffett Field, California This position is under the supervision of the: Supervisory Budget Analyst. Description of position/office/working environment: The 63rd Regional Support Command is responsible for the base and administrative support of all U.S. Army Reserve units throughout the seven-state region of southwestern United States. Moffett Field is a joint civil-military airport located 3 miles (5 km) north of downtown Mountain View, in Santa Clara County, California, near the southern tip of San Francisco Bay; Moffett Field encompasses approximately 2,200 acres. Salary includes 35.15% local market supplement. Who May Apply: Click for BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Degree: Accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business law. - OR - Combination of education and experience-at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. The applicants background must also include one of the following: - Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing course of appropriate type and quality. This can include up to 6 hours of business law; - Certificate as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination; or - Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing, e.g. 15 semester hours, but that does not fully satisfy the 24 semester hour requirement, provided that (a) the applicant has successfully worked at the full-performance level in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
