We are seeking a Bookkeeper to assist in managing the books for multiple locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, energetic individual who is looking for a great career as a Bookkeeper. This position will involve maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements along with performing the day-to-day bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities include: -Accounts receivable: posting to customer accounts, follow-up with emails on receivables -Accounts payable and check preparation -Monthly and year end journal entries -Monthly and year end financial reporting -Billing (invoicing) -Monthly financial reporting -Tax preparation -Sales tax submissions -Payroll -Auditing expense forms -Exposure to logistics -Customs interaction -Cash flow management -Collaborate with HR to ensure all changes to payroll are processed in a timely manner -Ensure all personnel receive training for timesheet and expense submission -Act as backup during vacations and absence for timely processing of accounts payable and payroll as required
