Boeing Engineering, Operations and Technology (EO&T) welcomes you to apply for an experienced accounting position in our Financial Accounting function located in Boeing's Chicago Corporate offices. We are looking for candidates who welcome a challenge, who are motivated to succeed, and who are self starters. EO&T will provide you with a work statement and environment that you will find exciting, challenging and productive. Your efforts will support a variety of financial accounting functions including financial statement and SEC schedule preparation, month-end closing, US GAAP research and whitepapers, international accounting, sales and earnings, lease accounting, hedging, accruals, and account reconciliations. This position will report to the EO&T Financial Accounting Policy and Reporting Manager. It offers excellent exposure to the leadership team and an opportunity to thoroughly understand the accounting function at Boeing. Strong US GAAP knowledge required. CPA preferred.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have at least 4 years experience working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)?
Do you have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or are you currently pursuing a CPA license?
Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Gathers, analyzes, interprets, prepares and reconciles complex financial information to support the preparation of financial statements. Reviews and analyzes unusual contract terms, conditions and accounting source documents to ensure that complex transactions are correctly classified.
