Accountant 2
Analyzes standard financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows) to assess the financial viability of existing and potential suppliers. Performs pre-contract assessments to determine whether suppliers can financially support work statements. Effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) to Supplier Management, advising of potential risks. Assists Supplier Management in developing risk mitigation plans to minimize performance risk to Boeing for both pre-contract assessments and critical suppliers. Works with business partners to develop future strategy for suppliers being reviewed. Participates in effectively presenting findings and risk assessments to Leadership Team and Supplier Management.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Accounting/Finance degree is preferred. CPA with public accounting experience is desirable. Experience in assessing financial health is beneficial. Travel and overtime may be required.
