Account Receivable Specialist
Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist-Direct Store Delivery/3rd Party Billing is responsible for performing duties associated with Direct Store Delivery and schools accounts receivable, and 3rd party arrangements.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible processing and mailing of weekly and monthly statements.
Monitor Accounts Receivablebalances on those customers and routes where adjustments are made. Make collection calls and coordinate slow pay situations with Sales associate responsible for managing the account. Accounts may also include a small portfolio of warehouse customers and retail chains.
Print label and file for new accounts being established.
Perform relief duties for other Accounts Receivable associates, as necessary. In particular, customer statements.
Perform 3rd party invoicing functions such as; creating invoices to end customers, create (process) RMA’s and credit memos for distributors that make deliveries, and ship invoices for end customers related to 3rd party shipments.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 1 – 3 years of accounting experience; or 5-7 years of related experience without the degree.
Strong computer skills, specifically in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
Strong background in an ERP or related program strongly preferred.
