* Be responsible for developing the portfolio assigned to you and increasing its profitability by acting as an advisor in order to meet your clients' needs. * Identify opportunities in your market, develop and lead business development strategies in a commercial banking setting. Your mandate is to focus on both small and medium size enterprises ("SME") and mid-market commercial banking opportunities. * Help your clients attain their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most appropriate selection of products and services while offering quality customer service in line with the Bank's standards. * Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor their needs and adapt your service offering to ensure they remain loyal to the Bank. * Conduct financial analysis and due diligence of commercial files for new and existing clients. * Develop financing scenarios and propose financing solutions that meet the clients' needs in collaboration with the Senior Manager. * Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients and ensure that they are in line with Bank commercial credit standards. * Maintain cross selling objectives, which ensure our clients establish and maintain partnerships with different internal and external stakeholders. * Participate in economic and social activities to ensure the Bank is appropriately visible in your market/region. * Adhere to the sales techniques and tools provided by the Bank to ensure a professional and courteous client experience. * Take ownership of your own personal development in terms of improving your competencies and your knowledge of the economic aspects of your market.
* Completed Bachelor's degree and minimum five years' relevant experience; or completed a Graduate Degree and minimum three years' relevant experience. * Professional Designation (i.e. CA, CMA, CGA or CFA) is desirable. * Experience in sales and business development * Banking experience, an asset * Knowledge of Commercial Banking credit policies and procedures, an asset * Negotiation skills * Proven ability to work on a team * Fluency in English and French (verbal and written) Diversity is an integral part of the Bank's values and commitments.
