Right now, we are in need of a Vice President, Chief of Staff to President, Americas
Your Role
In this role, you will report to the President, Americas as an active leader in achieving transaction, revenue and operating profit targets for more than 40% of the total company. Directly collaborates with the President and Americas leadership team and leaders across the matrix organization to deliver Western Union products and services to agents, consumers, and employees across the globe. This position will be responsible for delivering business transformation initiatives on a region basis contributing to significant revenue gains and / or significant cost and expense reductions through process improvement and business re-engineering programs. In addition, this position will review and analyze all data and information requests through the President's office and provide guidance, briefings and recommended actions to President.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as single point of contact to the President and Americas leadership and act as an information clearinghouse" providing input and recommendations on strategic plans and tactical execution
* In coordinate with the President, represent the office on a 24 hour basis to accommodate global presence and ensure urgent matters are actively managed
* Lead global IT Prioritization for the region
* Manage Investment Prioritization (W1/W2) working closely with CFO organization to develop business cases for investment prioritization / allocation for the Americas region.
* Partner with Human Resources semi-annual WT talent reviews, succession planning and organizational design
* Coordinate and lead Procurement and Corporate real estate activities ensuring alignment to the Americas vision and long term business operating model strategy
* Partner with Operations and project management organizations aligning priorities and execution and providing sound business requirements
* On a regional basis develop talent and project execution for Mergers and Acquisition activities across the five regions. Align with corporate M&A team on priorities and strategic investment pipeline, support due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts
* Drive business transformation initiatives to increase business efficiency and effectiveness
* Lead / track all initiatives from Global Process and Productivity office, WU University, nGen and Full Potential" strategic initiatives
* Deliver expense optimization on annual basis
* Act as liaison between Americas and other departments and executives
* Represent President as requested both internal and external meeting and functions
* Free up" Presidents time to allow him to focus on longer term strategic priorities
* Champion strategic alignment across the organization through:
* Staff meetings and quarterly business reviews
* Assist in communication and employee engagement
* Manage and coordinate corporate scorecard reporting, work with the regions to develop action plans for initiatives in yellow / red status, manage to completion
* Review and cascade annual goals and objectives from the president down the organization ensuring alignment
* Assist the President with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
* Monitor and ensure readiness for internal and external board of director assignments
* Act as point of contact for the WU Foundation and coordinate needs and requirements with the five regions

* High degree of confidence, confidentiality, intellectual competence and tolerance for ambiguity and change

* Self starter, results oriented, ability to anticipate needs and act proactively and independently
* Four year college degree, with advanced certificates or MBA
* 10 years' experience with large global organization operating in a matrix environment
* Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
