Specific job requirements:
This position is for a junior developer. Primarily a software maintenance task, providing Tier 3 support to a high-profile operation system. Daily tasks include coding to resolve tickets, performing unit test, integration test, supporting the test team to understand and write test cases, supporting the operations team, attending CCB and planning meetings, providing surge support to all other team members.
Requires at least one (1) year recent experience using C++ in a UNIX (LINUX, HP-UNIX or other UNIX-like Operating System) environment. Shall have demonstrated history with unit testing practices and working in a team environment. Familiarity with ClearCase/ClearQuest and agile development is a plus.
TS/SCI with Poly is required. Location is the Baltimore/Washington area!
Shall have a Bachelor''s degree in a related field (e.g. Business Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Management, Program Management etc.), or two (2) years of additional relevant expereince above all experience requirements listed, in lieu of a Bachelor''s degree.
Desired Professional Experience:
Experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems) is desired.
Experience in web services implementation is desired.
Three (3) years experience in Agile methods is desired.
One (1) year direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity is desired.
