Audit & Enterprise Risk Services - Audit & Assurance Services (A&AS)
Position Overview:
The Paraprofessional will play an important role in the daily operations of the A&AS department. The Paraprofessional will primarily support and report directly to the PMO leader and provide support to the department Partners/Directors. The candidate will support multiple projects and operational programs from a project management perspective, assist with report development and coordination, collect and track metrics and status, and perform analysis related to department operations. The candidate will coordinate meetings and events, take, summarize and distribute notes and actions, and monitor progress. The Paraprofessional should be self-motivated and able to think and work independently, but also able to work well in a team environment. An intermediate level proficiency of administrative / project management skills including excellent communication behavior and computing proficiency is required. Location is Wilton, CT. This is a full-time position.

The Paraprofessional job responsibilities may include the following:
· Perform project administration work.
· Develop department initiatives and processes.
· Balance multiple projects and other responsibilities.
· Communicate effectively to all levels of professionals.
· Research, documentation, reporting and project management.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint 2010 and database development/maintenance.
· Plan and coordinate meetings, take and distribute notes.
· Track action items to resolution.
· Monitor projects and processes.
· Communicate directly with Engagement Partners/Directors and teams as necessary.
· Maintain project plans; track and report status, develop presentation materials.
· Conduct operations analysis as required and improve processes.

· Minimum 5 years related work experience.
· Professional demeanor.
· Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to take initiative - assertive and confident.
· Ability to take ownership of assigned work, use available resources to fulfill assigned goals.
· Superior follow-up skills to ensure that actions are completed and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
· Ability to exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary.
· Ability to anticipate problems and act accordingly.
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task - excellent time management.
· Effective working with professionals of all levels; working independently as well as on a team.
· Excellent computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience is preferred. Database development and maintenance is strongly desired.
· Excellent communication skills - written and oral.
· Excellent proofreading, formatting, grammar, spelling and general math skills.
· Familiarity with accounting, audit, and project management principles desired.
