ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Responsibilities: Prospects directly with labor and public groups, and through broker channels, and builds relationships with Public and Labor prospective customers in a targeted geographic area. Sells a group of prospective clients on joining together to form a coalition for the purpose of buying and providing healthcare at a more affordable and predictable cost. Solicits buy-in from each coalition groups leader to join together to buy insurance and create a custom network for their coalition use only. Collaborate with Aetna provider network staff about approaching hospital system leadership about creating a custom network for this large, dense population of members. Once reduced pricing is received, work with P & L actuarial team to price for the improved contracts. Prospect, manage and develop strategic partnerships with Provider owned health plans in the lls and Experience Necessary: At least 5 years of successful, proven health care experience in large group (3,000 +) sales in the Public or Labor sector Solid understanding of medical economics, provider contracting, underwriting and actuarial science Comfortable traveling at least 50% of the time Leadership and entrepreneurial mentality preferred, documented leadership experience (references will be required) Assertive, creative, driven and proactive in sales approach Self-starter and ability to work independently Strong collaboration and communication skills Strong people agility skills and able to adapt to multiple personality types Four Year BSBA degree required, MBA preferred
