Job Title SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST Job ID Number 12-6414 Company NASSCO Location Portsmouth, VA Job Category Aerospace/Aviation/Defense Job Description Act in a leading role in the development of 4-year operating plan to include project profit and loss, divisional and company income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow. Support the preparation of monthly GAAP financial statements including identification of related party transactions and reporting packages sent to parent company. Support SOX compliance efforts to include control set-up, monitoring, and section 404 testing requirements. Support the preparations and audits of incurred cost submissions, forward pricing rates, bids and proposals price, and all other financial-related FAR requirements. Analyze, interpret, and communicate budget and forecast variances to management. Assist the Controller with complex analytical trouble-shooting and problem resolution. Support corporate tax requirements. Research and respond to internal customer inquiries in the areas finances, government accounting, CAS and FAR. Support insurance and risk management requirements.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance-related field required; MBA is preferred CPA and public reporting background, a plus
