POSITION SUMMARY
The Collateral Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the management of the credit risk and loan quality of the bank''s ABL Loan Portfolio. The ABL Collateral Analyst will assist with the collateral evaluation of commercial loans.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Work directly with borrowers to obtain client daily, weekly and/or monthly processing packages, and communicate with them to resolve all items not balanced or received. * Review and verify that Daily Collateral Reports submitted by clients reconcile to subsidiary schedules such as sales journals, credit memo journals; cash receipt journals, lockbox reports and other required reporting that ties to the Daily Collateral Report. * Review invoices pursuant to the specific client’s loan requirements. * Obtain Lockbox cash availability to post to loans. * Input daily activity into the ABL loan system and verify that each client’s Daily Collateral Report agrees to the balance on the ABL loan system. * Process loan advances. * Review Legal Documents to ensure Compliance with Loan approval and Bank policy. * Ensure terms of Legal Documents are setup correctly in the core loan system. * Obtain ineligible calculation from the clients, and review ineligibles for accuracy and make sure the A/R reconciliation balances to the month end Daily Collateral Report. Obtain all applicable internal approvals Job Requirements :
* B.A. or equivalent work experience. * 3 to 5 years experience specifically related to Asset Based Lending loan administration work; * Capable of analyzing information/processes to determine overall trends and make appropriate conclusions. * Experience with Stucky (ABL Software) preferred * Ability to seek and gather information from a variety of sources. * Ability to pay close attention to detail. * Strong project management skills * Excellent Excel skills. * Ability to work independently and yet collaborate in a team environment. * Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations. * Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. * Effective interpersonal skills.
