We have the following opening for a professional, motivated and technologically oriented candidate: Corporate Actions Associate The associate will be responsible to identify, track and determine implication on all European corporate actions for all customer and proprietary positions. The Company trades in 15 European countries. Potential candidates are good problem solvers, well organized, and reliable team players. Daily communication with our US headquarter, Timber Hill staff and members of all the clearing firms make this job interesting. Description: * Analyze / monitor incoming corporate action information - collect missing data * Analyze / monitor incoming counterparty claims - initiate payments or deliveries * Evaluate / calculate according record date holdings, the adjustments need to occur on our accounts with clearinghouses and banks, issue this information internally * Instruct clearinghouses and banks with our instructions for corporate events, organize the instructions from our trading department * Support Clearing Associates and Self Clearers daily with regard to corporate events Qualification: * Education: Bank apprenticeship * Experience: Banking experience - 2 years minimum, familiarity with securities administration / corporate actions, Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) in theory understood, basic knowledge of derivative products and accounting * Technology: Proficient MS Office user; eager to learn new programs / products and familiar with clearing systems * Languages: Fluent in English (daily use) and German * Personality: ambitious, detail oriented and accurate with the ability to work independently We offer: * Fast growing environment within a highly successful company * Compensation package including share plan If you have drive, motivation and initiative, we can offer you real responsibility and the opportunity to work in a demanding but rewarding team oriented environment.
