In this role you will successfully balance daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities with the need to constantly improve the precision with which we analyze our transactions, financial results, products/pricing and procedures. Support the Vice President, Mortgage Market and Pricing to improve the overall precision, analytical depth and performance of the Secondary Marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily pricing of all mortgage products
Analysis of loan sales and hedge position
Pipeline risk management through the QRM software application
Review and follow-up on aged “held for sale” loans
Other projects as investor and business demands dictate.
Requirements:
Pricing of mortgage loans, an understanding loan programs, instruments commonly used to hedge a mortgage pipeline, and the interest rate markets.
Ability to digest overall business strategy and apply that understanding in completing daily responsibilities and other relevant analysis.
Proven quantitative and analytical skills.
Must be detail-oriented in order to accurately and thoroughly complete various financial functions.
Have the ability to quickly understand and resolve complex issues, develop solutions and complete analysis with recommendations.
Strong MS Excel and MS Access database skills, with experience in developing new spreadsheets and databases. QRM system experience extremely valued.
Four year college degree or equivalent work experience.
