Manufacturing company looking for a Accountant/Bookkeeper to do the following:
Code and enter AR & AP information
Cut checks on a weekly basis
Learn how to use Freeway (the accounting program used for LME business) and run reports for accounting purposes
Bank reconciliations on a frequency to be determined (at least once a week)
Maintain fixed assets
Maintain various accounting schedules on an ongoing basis
Post journal entries
Work on month end close
Various administrative tasks (this will be minor compared to the accounting tasks)
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years prior work experience required. Prior experience as a bookkeeper, AP or AR clerk required. Must be proficient in excel, word and outlook
